get some layers, go to your hairdresser and ask them what they think will suit you because they know best.
I like Reese Witherspoon's lastest hairstyle,the one with the bangs. Check with a hairstylist that you can trust and also know your face shape as certain hairstyles suites only certain face shape.
I think that choppy layers look good on people with long hair. But, keep in mind that if you like to put your hair up it's harder to get all your hair in a ponytail. Also bangs are always cute and daring. You can look at some magazines to get some inspritation and remember to bring the picture to the hair dresser with you to give them an idea. Good luck!
